Our Story

Howell Brand began because we couldn’t find clean, non-branded performance hats that felt timeless and functional. Growing up around baseball and always gravitating toward MLB-style hats, we wanted something simple, versatile, and understated. A hat that didn’t need to shout to make a statement.

Born and raised in the Dallas, Texas area, we started by embroidering “Texas” on a blank hat. That small project sparked the vision for our first Texas Collection. From there, we dove deep into fabrics, fit blocks, manufacturing, and design until we created the hat we had always looked for.
