Howell Brand is a performance-meets-lifestyle hat brand built for people who move. Each hat is designed to look good anywhere, feel weightless, and keep up with whatever you’re doing.

Our Story

Howell Brand was born from the lack of clean, non-branded performance hats. As a kid who grew playing baseball, I've always had an affinity for MLB style baseball hats (Fun fact: I've owned over half the MLB teams hats in my life). I wanted something simple, functional, and versatile. A hat that didn’t need to shout to make a statement and could go anywhere with confidence. Something that blended my love for the on-field MLB hats with performance detailing. Enter, an idea (lightbulb moment).

Born and raised in the Dallas, TX area, I started by customizing a blank hat with an embroidered “Texas,” and that small project sparked the vision for this initial Texas Collection. From there, I researched fabrics, fit blocks, manufacturing, and design until I created the hat I had been searching for. 

Our Mission

Our mission is to build a community of people who live in their hats. Whether you’re at the gym, on the golf course, out to dinner, or anywhere in between, Howell hats are made to perform, to last, and to move with you.
